A. The director may accept the following forms of financial assurance:

1. (1) cash;
2. (2) trusts;
3. (3) surety bonds;
4. (4) letters of credit;
5. (5) collateral bonds;
6. (6) third party guarantees;
7. (7) insurance; or
8. (8) a combination of any of the above.

B. The director shall not accept any type or variety of self-guarantee or self-insurance for the required financial assurance.
