- A. FMCSA authorized carrier means a motor carrier subject to the authority of the United States department of transportation (U.S. DOT) and authorized by the federal motor carrier safety administration (FMCSA) to engage in compensated transportation in interstate or foreign commerce;
- B. unified carrier registration (UCR) means the federal requirements for state registration of FMCSA authorized carriers.
