If an applicant has attended a massage therapy training program that is not a registered massage therapy school or provides proof of completion of elective courses that falls under the "other" category in Paragraph (11) of Subsection D of 16.7.4.12 NMAC, the course(s) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be accepted by the board. The applicant must provide the following.

1. A. A separate written request for consideration of the course(s).
2. B. An official transcript that clearly names the course(s) to be considered.
3. C. A copy of the school catalog that clearly describes the course(s) to be considered. In accordance with Paragraph (2) of Subsection B of 16.7.4.11 NMAC, continuing education will NOT be accepted.
4. D. An administrative review fee as set forth in Paragraph (7) of Subsection A of 16.7.3.8 NMAC.
