The Chiropractic Physician Practice Act provides that the board shall examine candidates for licensure in the act of chiropractic adjusting, producers and methods as shall reveal the applicant’s qualifications; provided that the board may waive the requirements for the board administered examination upon satisfactory completion of the examination conducted by the national board of chiropractic examiners. The board will accept successful completion of all parts of the examination conducted by the national board of chiropractic examiners.

1. A. National boards: an applicant for licensure by examination must have passed the national board exams I, II, III, and IV and physiotherapy conducted by the national board of chiropractic examiners with a passing score required by the national board of chiropractic examiners.

2. B. Jurisprudence exam: all licensure applicants must successfully pass the board’s jurisprudence exam.

   1. (1) The applicant will receive the jurisprudence examination with instructions from the board office after the board receives both the application and the application fees.
   2. (2) To complete the jurisprudence examination, the applicant will use the statutes and rules and regulations of the board.
   3. (3) The applicant must pass the jurisprudence exam with a minimum score of 75%.
   4. (4) Applicants may retake the examination as many times necessary to achieve a passing grade.

   5. (5) The jurisprudence examination may be developed for on-line access and available through the board web site.
