The board of nursing may appoint a minimum of a seven-member advisory committee to make recommendations to the board regarding nursing education.

1. A. The advisory committee shall review applications for initial approval, survey/evaluation reports, annual reports, major curriculum changes, and shall submit reports and recommendations to the board.

2. B. The advisory committee shall provide consultation to nursing programs as requested or as directed by the board.
