15.6.20.9

Conduct of contests and exhibitions; applicability of provisions:

1. A. All events of mixed martial arts must be conducted under the supervision and authority of the commission.

2. B. With prior approval from the commission, a promoter may request the following special rules for each amateur contest:

   1. (1) no elbow strikes to the head;
   2. (2) no knees to the head;
   3. (3) three minute rounds; or
   4. (4) any other rules deemed appropriate for the safety and protection of the amateur unarmed combatant.
