A. A gaming machine shall be capable of detecting and displaying, and an attendant may clear, all of the following error conditions:

1. (1) coin- or token-in jam;
2. (2) coin- or token-out jam;
3. (3) hopper empty or timed-out;
4. (4) RAM error;
5. (5) hopper runaway or extra coin or token paid out;
6. (6) coin- or token-in error conditions;
7. (7) reel spin error of any type, including a misindex condition of rotating reels; the specific reel number must be identified in the error indicator; and
8. (8) low RAM battery, for batteries external to the RAM itself, or low power source.

B. A description of the gaming machine error codes and their meanings shall be contained inside each gaming machine.
