A. Before an applicant may take the examination required for licensure, the applicant shall:

1. (1) complete the pre-licensing classroom education and on-the-job training required by 13.20.2.11 NMAC and 13.20.2.12 NMAC, unless the pre-licensing education requirement is waived by the superintendent as provided for in 13.20.2.13 NMAC;
2. (2) submit a written certificate of completion from his sponsoring bail bondsman for on-the-job training; and
3. (3) submit a written certificate of completion from an accredited provider for formal pre-licensing classroom education, if applicable.

B. Prior to licensure the applicant must successfully pass the examination.
