In addition to the definitions in Section 59A-14-2 NMSA 1978, the following definitions apply in this rule:

1. A. “Alien insurer” has the meaning given in Section 59A-5-2 NMSA 1978.
2. B. “Foreign insurer” means an insurer organized under the laws of a state other then New Mexico.
3. C. “IRIS” means the insurance regulatory information system of the national association of insurance commissioners.

4. D. “Type of insurance” has the meaning given in Section 59A-14-2F NMSA 1978.
