EXEMPTION.

1. A. An agency seeking an exemption from the requirements of this rule shall file a written request with the CIO. The request shall state the grounds for the exemption request and shall include any information available to support the request. The CIO shall respond to the request within thirty (30) days.

2. B. An agency may file with the Commission a written request for review of an adverse CIO decision. The Commission shall make a final decision at its next regularly scheduled meeting, unless a special meeting is called for that purpose.
