N.M. Const. art. VI, § 7
The supreme court shall hold one term each year, commencing on the second Wednesday in January, and shall be at all times in session at the seat of government; provided, that the court may, from time to time, take such recess as in its judgment may be proper.

Control of judgments entered during term. — Supreme court had authority to set aside an order of dismissal two days after it was made, since both actions were in the same term, and court had full control of judgment entered during that term. Henderson v. Dreyfus, 1920-NMSC-054, 26 N.M. 262, 191 P. 455.
