(a) Continuing education in the following subjects shall satisfy the requirements of this part:

1. (1) Water wells;
2. (2) Water pumps;
3. (3) Water conditioning and treatment systems;
4. (4) Occupational safety;
5. (5) Business management;
6. (6) Hydrogeology; and
7. (7) Water resources management and protection.

(b) The following types of continuing education courses, conferences, and seminars shall satisfy the requirements of this part:

1. (1) Course work, seminars, workshops, or lectures given by:

   1. a. The department;
   2. b. Other state agencies including the electricians’ board and the mechanical board;
   3. c. National, state, and local trade associations;
   4. d. Product vendors or manufacturers; and
   5. e. Any accredited educational facilities;
2. (2) Attendance at conferences and conventions sponsored by national, state, and local trade associations or the department; and

3. (3) Correspondence courses.
