1. (a) The board shall recognize as maintenance of continuing competence a certificate holder's participation as an attendee in a facility-based in-service training, including grand rounds, when the topic of the training is:

   1. (1) In the field of speech-language pathology; or
   2. (2) Related to any psychological or physical condition for which speech-language pathology is often or usually recommended.
2. (b) The board shall credit the certificate holder with one hour for each clock hour of such participation.

3. (c) Documentation of participation in a facility-based in-service training shall be:

   1. (1) A photocopy of a continuing medical education transcript; or

   2. (2) A photocopy of a certificate of attendance:

      1. a. Signed by:

         1. 1. The director of the facility;
         2. 2. The supervisor of the department giving the in-service training; or
         3. 3. The sponsor of the in-service training; and

      2. b. Showing:

         1. 1. The certificate holder's name as an attendee;
         2. 2. The date and topic of the in-service training;
         3. 3. The name of the facility; and
         4. 4. The duration of the certificate holder's participation.
