(a) An independent laboratory shall employ the following in its analytical method:

1. (1) Gas chromatography; and
2. (2) Internal standard.

(b) When the result of the breath test is challenged by the additional test analysis, the independent laboratory shall provide to the opposing party:

1. (1) Proof of the independent laboratory’s accreditation for the period encompassing the date of analysis;
2. (2) A copy of the additional test analysis report;
3. (3) A copy of the run log for the day the subject’s additional test was analyzed;
4. (4) Copies of the gas chromatograph instrument printouts of the subject’s additional test results;
5. (5) Copies of all the gas chromatograph instrument printouts of the blanks, standards, and controls analyzed on the day the additional test was analyzed; and

6. (6) Documentation of any repairs or preventive maintenance performed on the gas chromatograph instrument within a 2-month period before and after the analysis of the subject’s additional test.
