- (a) Pursuant to RSA 21-P:19, any peace officer of the state of New Hampshire shall have the authority to enforce these rules.
- (b) Pursuant to RSA 266:72-a, V(b), each person subject to these rules shall submit accounts, books, records, memoranda, correspondence, and other documents for inspection, upon demand of any peace officer, during regular business hours.
- (c) Each motor carrier who transports hazardous materials and is required to return notices, reports, and other information on a periodic or incident basis pursuant to the federal regulations shall likewise notify the department in the same manner as is required for federal agencies. A photocopy of written reports furnished to the appropriate federal agency shall be accepted.
