Accountability for Wheelchair Vans for Hire

Effective May 24, 2019(See Revision Note #1 and Revision Note #2 at Chapter heading for Saf-C 5900) #12790, effective 5-24-19Commissioner, Department of Safety

The company shall be responsible for ensuring that:

(a) Each wheelchair van is maintained in a safe and working manner, including ensuring that the chair van shall be:
1. (1) Kept free from unsanitary conditions; and
2. (2) In compliance with all equipment pursuant to Saf-C 5917.12.
