“Wheelchair van for hire” means a mode of transportation that charges a fee for the transportation of medically stable, non-emergent individuals in a wheelchair, stretcher, or wheeled gurney that does not need any monitoring equipment, medication, or assistance, including medical transportation. The term includes “chair van(s)” and “ambulette(s)”.
