Quick Screen Test

Effective Jan 1, 1999#6887, EXEMPT, eff 1-1-99Commissioner, Department of Safety

(a) In the absence of visible smoke, vehicles selected for pullover shall be permitted to attempt to “quick screen” before the undergoing the SAE J1667 test procedure.
(b) The Quick Screen shall consist of two “snaps’ of the accelerator as described in the SAE J1667 test procedure.
