For the purposes of this part, the following terms shall be defined as follows:

1. (a) “School transportation provider” means a school bus driver or monitor employed by a school bus transportation agency contracting with a public school administrative unit, school district, chartered public school, or public academy, to provide transportation services for children;
2. (b) “School” means a public school administrative unit, school district, chartered public school, or public academy that has been approved by the New Hampshire state board of education; and
3. (c) “School bus transportation agency” means a private school bus company contracting with a public school to provide drivers and monitors for the transport and supervision of school children.
