Single shot mortars up to 8 inches in diameter shall be buried to ¾ its length in sand filled boxes or steel 55 gallon drums, and single shot mortars greater than 8 inches in diameter and up to 12 inches in diameter shall be buried to ¾ its length in separate sand filled boxes or steel 55 gallon drums in accordance with Saf-C 5020.02.
