- (a) No person shall smoke, carry matches or any other flame-producing device, or carry firearms or loaded cartridges while in or within 50 feet of a motor vehicle transporting display fireworks. Nothing in this section shall prohibit an on-duty law enforcement officer from approaching or inspecting a vehicle containing display fireworks while wearing a loaded firearm.
- (b) No person shall park his/her motor vehicle transporting display fireworks within 300 feet of an open fire.
- (c) The driver shall load or unload the vehicle in compliance with 49 CFR 177.834 through 177.843, pursuant to RSA 21-P:17, I(a).
