1. (a) All mechanics who seek approval to conduct inspections shall attend one department inspection overview session for each type of vehicle they intend to inspect at a time and location as determined by the Director. All mechanics shall be pre-registered for the overview session. Each mechanic may be required to attend a refresher session, as necessary.
2. (b) The director shall require any mechanic who has either demonstrated a lack of knowledge of inspection laws or rules or who has been found to have intentionally or knowingly violated inspection laws or rules, to attend the inspection overview session and/or undergo a mechanic field test in accordance with Saf-C 3205.04.
