Students in Need of Special Assistance

(a) Any student who is not specially coded by a school district shall be eligible for special assistance pursuant to Saf-C 3223.01 if:
- (1) The instructor writes to the local school district explaining the specific assistance that he/she feels the student needs or will need in order to complete driver education; and
- (2) The local school district reviews and approves the request.
- (b) Approval shall be based upon whether the student will be capable of successfully completing driver education without a special accommodation.
