- (a) All approved drivers’ schools shall issue a text book to each student that has been approved by the department, to be used as an integrated component of the program.
(b) Examples of approved texts shall include:
- (1) Responsible Driver;
- (2) How to Drive; and
- (3) Drive Right.
- (c) Any person may request approval of texts by writing to the division and including 2 copies of the text.
- (d) Upon receipt of the request, the division shall review the text to decide whether it shall be approved.
(e) The text shall be approved if, after review, the division determines:
- (1) That the text contains substantially the same materials as the texts set forth in (b) above; and
- (2) The text addresses the testing content set forth in Saf-C 3112.02.
- (f) This section shall not apply to CDL drivers’ schools pursuant to Saf-C 3117.
