(a) The driver education instructor shall maintain an instructional record of each student, which shall include:
- (1) Classroom instruction; and
- (2) Behind-the-wheel instruction.
(b) The classroom instructional record shall include the following:
- (1) Name of each student;
- (2) The time each class was started and completed, to the minute, exclusive of breaks and other non-instructional activity as set forth in Saf-C 3110.04(d);
- (3) Whether the time of each class occurred in the morning, afternoon or evening;
- (4) Assignment grades;
- (5) Test grades; and
- (6) Final course grade.
(c) The behind- the- wheel instructional record shall include the following:
- (1) Name, address and telephone number of each student;
- (2) Date of each lesson;
- (3) The time each lesson was started and completed, to the minute, including whether it occurred in the morning, afternoon or evening;
- (4) Description of instruction;
- (5) Name of instructor; and
- (6) Vehicle used.
- (d) The behind-the-wheel instructional record shall be updated at the time of or immediately following each lesson.
- (e) All driving schools shall maintain instructional records in accordance with the requirements of Saf-C 3114.
- (f) All instructional records shall be available for inspection by any current or past enrollee or authorized employee of the departments.
