- (a) Each vessel agent shall use only the official validation stamps issued by the commissioner.
- (b) Validation stamps shall be affixed to the owner’s copy of the registration certificate on the top third of the registration certificate.
- (c) No vessel agent shall use a validation stamp issued to another vessel agent.
- (d) No stamps shall be issued until the vessel agent has submitted a $25 deposit for each stamp.
- (e) All stamps shall be returned to the department upon revocation or expiration of a vessel agent’s appointment, or upon a vessel agent’s resignation.
