- (a) Prior to being appointed as a vessel agent, the applicant shall obtain written acknowledgement from the city or town clerk in the municipality where the vessel agent is located.
- (b) Written acknowledgement shall be a signed and dated letter from the city or town clerk, on letterhead, which acknowledges that the person is a vessel agent in the municipality.
