Appointment of Vessel Agent

In order to be appointed as a vessel agent by the commissioner, each applicant shall:
- (a) Complete the application set forth in Saf-C 2308.02;
- (b) Complete the training requirements set forth in Saf-C 2308.05;
- (c) Obtain written acknowledgment from the city or town clerk in the municipality where the vessel agent is located, pursuant to Saf-C 2308.08;
- (d) Complete an interview pursuant to Saf-C 2308.03, if applicable;
- (e) Obtain a surety bond pursuant to Saf-C 2308.07; and
- (f) Sign the vessel agent contract pursuant to Saf-C 2308.09.
