Renewal Commercial Driver License - Hazardous Material Endorsement

(a) Each applicant for a renewal commercial driver license with a hazardous materials endorsement shall complete the following in the order reflected:
- (1) The visual acuity examination set forth in Saf-C 1004; and
- (2) The knowledge examination set forth in Saf-C 1805.01(b)(7).
- (b) In addition to (a) above, each applicant for a renewal commercial driver license with a hazardous materials endorsement shall provide fingerprints in order to complete the Transportation Security Administration security threat assessment process, as required by 49 CFR 383.141.
