Storage of Ammonium Nitrate

- (a) Ammonium nitrate may be stored in the same magazine with blasting agents. Ammonium nitrate and blasting agents may be stored in the same magazine with explosives.
- (b) When ammonium nitrate is stored in the same magazine with blasting agents, the magazine shall comply with the requirements for the storage of blasting agents.
- (c) When ammonium nitrate is stored in the same magazine with explosives, the magazine shall comply with the requirements for the storage of explosives.
- (d) In determining the maximum quantity of explosive materials that may be placed in a magazine, one-half the weight of ammonium nitrate shall be added to the weight of explosive materials.
