- (a) Carabineers shall be the screw gate type, manufactured of hardened steel, with at least a minimum breaking load of 6,000 pounds.
- (b) Pulleys and shackles shall be manufactured of hardened steel and shall have a minimum breaking load of at least 6,000 pounds.
- (c) All pulleys shall be compatible with the rope size.
- (d) Webbing shall be flat or tubular mountaineering webbing or equivalent with a minimum breaking load of at least 6,000 pounds. If military specification cords are used, all webbing shall have redundant connections.
