Identification Plate Required

- (a) A permanent New Hampshire identification number shall be assigned to each carnival or amusement ride and associated electrical equipment registered for operation in New Hampshire.
- (b) A numbered metal identification plate measuring 1” x 3” shall be provided by the department of safety.
- (c) The identification plate shall be permanently affixed to the carnival or amusement ride by the owner/operator prior to public operation.
- (d) The identification plate shall be placed in immediate proximity of the New Hampshire registration sticker.
- (e) If a permanent identification plate is lost or stolen, the department of safety, tramway and amusement ride bureau shall be notified immediately.
