1. (a) Where the insurance contract held by a carnival or amusement ride owner or operator as required in RSA 321-A, expires or is canceled, notice shall be furnished to the commissioner by the insurance carrier not less than 10 days prior to said expiration or cancellation.
2. (b) All carnival or amusement rides covered by an insurance contract shall be closed no later than the date of expiration or cancellation of the contract. Carnival or amusement rides shall remain closed until the requisite insurance, pursuant to RSA 321-A:5, III, is re-obtained and is in effect and the department of safety has been notified in writing.
