1. (a) Every portable carnival or amusement ride shall be equipped with a means to disconnect each structure from all ungrounded conductors as provided by Article 525.21(A) of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, 2017 edition published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), as adopted pursuant to RSA 155-A:1 and as amended by the building code review board and ratified by the legislature in accordance with RSA 155-A:10.
2. (b) The disconnect switch shall be maintained in good working order at all times, and shall not be bypassed or in any way rendered inoperable during operation of the carnival or amusement ride to which it is attached.
