- (a) All carnival or amusement rides, except as set forth in (d) below, shall be maintained in the manner prescribed by the manufacturer of the carnival or amusement ride.
- (b) If the manufacturer’s instructions for maintenance are not available, the carnival or amusement ride shall be maintained in a manner which will prevent the carnival or amusement ride from being hazardous to any user, operator, or spectator.
- (c) The responsibility for proper maintenance shall rest with the owner or operator.
- (d) Maintenance of challenge courses or zip lines shall conform to the standards set forth in the 16th edition of the ANSI/ACCT Challenge Courses and Canopy/Zip Line Tours Standards (2016), available as noted in Appendix B.
