The source note information for the rules under these new numbers contains the document numbers and effective dates for the rules under the former numbers, which are identified in the source notes. The source note information for the new rules Saf-C 1302.07 and Saf-C 1313.26 refer only to Document #10439 since these rules did not exist before but are new rules.

REVISION NOTE #2:

Document #14005, effective 6-21-24, readopted, readopted with amendments, repealed, or adopted all of the rules in Chapter Saf-C 1300 on school bus transportation. Document #14005 replaces all prior filings for rules in Chapter Saf-C 1300.

The changes in Document #14005 from the existing Chapter Saf-C 1300 included the repeal of the definition in Saf-C 1302.07 (“mixed use school bus”), and the adoption of a new definition in Saf-C 1302.11 (“roster year”) in Part Saf-C 1302 titled “Definitions”. A new rule Saf-C 1307.05 titled “School Bus Inspection Sticker” was also inserted as an amendment to Part Saf-C 1307 titled “Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection”. A new rule Saf-C 1312.19 titled “Back-up Warning Alarm” was also adopted in Part Saf-C 1312 titled “Multipurpose Passenger Vehicle Specifications.”

These changes necessitated the renumbering of several rules within Part Saf-C 1302 and Part Saf-C 1307, as follows:
