Fire Extinguishers

- (a) Each multipurpose passenger vehicle shall be equipped with a fire extinguisher, approved by Underwriter's Laboratories with a 2-pound capacity that has a rating of not less than 2A-10B:C.
- (b) Each fire extinguisher shall be securely mounted in an accessible location in the driver or the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
- (c) Each fire extinguisher shall have a functional pressure gauge mounted on the extinguisher, so that it shall be easily read without removing the extinguisher from its mounted position.
- (d) The operating mechanism shall be sealed in such a manner so as not to interfere with the use of the fire extinguisher.
