- (a) All wiring shall comply with the manufacturer’s and federal specifications, as of the date of manufacture, and shall be arranged in circuits to properly handle the electrical demand.
- (b) An identifying diagram for all electrical circuits shall be provided, which shall include color and codes.
- (c) All wires passing through metal openings shall be protected by an insulating grommet.
- (d) Wires not enclosed within the school bus body shall be fastened securely at intervals of not more than 18 inches.
- (e) No exposed wiring shall be allowed in the interior passenger compartment.
- (f) All connections shall be soldered or joined by equally effective connectors.
