Discharging and Loading Pupils

(a) The driver of each school bus used for the transportation of pupils shall:
- (1) Bring the bus to a complete stop in order to receive or discharge pupils; and
- (2) Proceed only after all persons have cleared the danger zone of the bus and all pupils are properly seated.
- (b) For the purposes of (a)(2) above, "danger zone" means the 10-foot area immediately surrounding the stopped school bus.
