A conditional default entered for the claimant’s failure to file an appearance shall operate as the dismissal of the case without prejudice unless:

1. (a) Within 10 days of the date appearing on the notice of conditional default, the claimant moves to strike the conditional default;
2. (b) Within 10 days of the date appearing on the notice of conditional default, the claimant files the required appearance; and
3. (c) After receipt of the items noted in (a) and (b) above, the motion to strike the conditional default is granted.
