If a member’s employer reports or remits, on behalf of the member, earnable compensation or employer or member contributions attributable to service for which the member is not eligible for service credit under Ret 307.02(a)-(c), the NHRS shall provide written notice to the member and the member’s employer that the member is ineligible to receive

service credit for the applicable period of member service.
