- (a) Each utility shall use all practicable means to avoid interruptions to service, including maintaining appropriate levels of maintenance and planning for unexpected events.
- (b) Should interruption occur, the utility shall re-establish service within the shortest time practicable, consistent with safety.
(c) Each utility shall:
- (1) Keep a record of all interruptions to service; and
- (2) Report service interruptions to the commission on Form E-23, which is described at Puc 1107.09, once a month, if they occur.
- (d) When service is interrupted to perform work on lines or equipment, the utility shall perform such work at a time causing minimum inconvenience to customers consistent with the circumstances.
- (e) The utility shall notify in advance, if practicable, customers affected by interruption to service to perform work on lines or equipment.
