Time and Compensation Records

The following shall apply to time and compensation records:
- (a) Each hiring authority or agency shall maintain for a period of 5 years, a record of gross earnings, hours worked and the hourly rate of pay of each part-time police officer, which record together with all supporting documentation shall be open to inspection by the council upon request; and
- (b) Each hiring authority shall certify under oath to the council by no later than 30 days after the close of each calendar year that each part-time police officer in their employ has not exceeded the maximum hours requirement specified in these rules.
