As used in these rules, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

1. (a) "Board" means the New Hampshire board of podiatry created by RSA 315:1;

   b) "Practice of podiatry" means the diagnosis and treatment of ailments of the human foot and lower leg by any medical, mechanical, electrical, and surgical means available; and

2. (c) "Podiatrist" means a doctor of podiatric medicine holding a license to practice podiatry issued by the board under RSA 315:8.
