For purposes of obtaining a license by endorsement in a profession regulated by the governing board of occupational therapists, the current requirements of the licensing jurisdiction shall be as follows:

1. (a) For an occupational therapist license:

   1. (1) Pass the examination of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or other national certifying body for occupational therapists; and
   2. (2) Complete supervised fieldwork; and

2. (b) For an occupational therapy assistant license:

   1. (1) Pass the examination of the NBCOT or other national certifying body for occupational therapy assistants; and
   2. (2) Complete supervised fieldwork.
