Qualifications for Initial Doula Certification

To qualify for certification as a doula, an individual shall:

(a) Be of good moral character, as demonstrated by the responses on the application to the questions listed in Plc 304.03(e) and any explanation(s) provided pursuant to Plc 304.04(a); and
(b) Have received training and experience in the core competencies identified in Plc 1903.02.
