N.H. Code Admin. R. Plc 1902.04
“Lactation service provider (LSP)” means an individual who possesses the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to facilitate breastfeeding and who works with parents and infants to resolve challenges related to breastfeeding. The term includes clinical LSPs such as International Board Certified Lactation Consultants and non-clinical LSPs such as certified lactation counselors, certified lactation educators, and certified breastfeeding educators, as described in Plc 1903.06.
