1. (a) A licensee may claim credit towards the continuing competence requirement for participating as a member in the work of a board or committee of a professional recreation therapy organization or government agency.
2. (b) The licensee may claim 5 hours for each board or committee served, to a maximum of 10 hours per renewal cycle.

3. (c) Documentation of a licensee’s participation as a member in the work of a board or committee of a professional recreation therapy organization or government agency shall be a dated letter on the organization’s letterhead confirming the licensee’s membership and the approximate total hours of the licensee’s service, signed by:

   1. (1) The president, head, or chair of the board or committee; or
   2. (2) If the licensee is the president, head, or chair, 2 or more members of the board or committee.
