1. (a) A licensee may claim credit towards the continuing competence requirement for participation as a speaker or attendee at a facility-based recreational therapy in-service training, including grand rounds, if the in-service training:

   1. (1) Includes a scheduled speaker; and
   2. (2) Is on a specific topic related to one or more of the NCTRC knowledge domains.
2. (b) The licensee may claim one hour for each clock hour of such participation, to a maximum of 10 hours per renewal cycle.

3. (c) Documentation of a licensee’s participation in facility-based recreation therapy in-service training, including grand rounds, shall be a written statement on the letterhead of the facility that shows:

   1. (1) The name of the licensee;
   2. (2) The title of the in-service training or grand round;
   3. (3) The date and the total number of hours of the in-service training or grand round; and
   4. (4) The printed name and signature of the licensee’s supervisor at the facility or of the instructor of the in-service training or grand round.
