Any individual who meets the statutory qualifications as reiterated in Plc 1404.01 and wishes to engage in the practice of recreational therapy who is not already licensed in New Hampshire shall apply by complying with Plc 304.01, subject to the following:
- (a) On or with the “Recreational Therapy Supplement To Universal Application For Initial License” dated 11/2025, the applicant shall provide the information required by Plc 1404.03 and the documentation required by Plc 1404.04, and attest to the statements in Plc 304.05(b);
- (b) A criminal background check shall not be required; and
- (c) The fee shall be the application processing and licensing fee specified in Plc 1002.46, provided that an applicant who is active military or a military spouse shall not pay the fee.
